| Steve L. “Happy” Grantham, age 54 of Boones Mill passed away Saturday, April 30, 2011. He was born November 11, 1956. Steve was the Owner and President of Ridgerunner Motors and was a member of Fairmont Baptist Church. He loved to watch football and racing but his true passion in life was his family, especially his grandkids whom he enjoyed taking walks with. Surviving are his children Stevie Grantham (Emily), Nikki Hodges (Barry), Justin Grantham (Kady), Kimmy Grantham, and Cody Grantham; parents Don and Barbara Grantham; sisters Pat Dudley (Mike), Darla Grantham (Gary); brother Mike Grantham (Donna); grandchildren Ann-Marie Grantham, Cheyenne Grantham, Liam Hodges, Cole Grantham and Wyatt Grantham; many nieces and nephews. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Roanoke Rescue Mission. Funeral services will be conducted from Fairmont Baptist Church 11am Tuesday with Rev. Leonard Castleman officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. His family will be receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt. 220 @ Wirtz Rd., Rocky Mount. |
